Not what I was expecting.

That said, it mentions seasel and weavile eat EGGS so perhaps that would be a more sensible direction to go for health pickups?

Alolan pokedex specifically mentions Weaviles eat sandshrews and vulpixes.

But yeah, my Sinnoh weavile Karen prefers pidgey eggs as her staple diet.

Ah, true.

Though eggs would give a reason for health pickups to be a little "off the beaten path" as it'd have to be a sort of nest. Her climb animation lends to the idea of some exploring, which would be nice.
