At the near end of every August, Cookie Gulch sponsors a rodeo where various teams from around the towns near Cookie Gulch would face off each other in a friendly competition of several events such as barrel rolling, pop gun shooting, broomstick horse racing, ice cream soda drinking, tug-o-war, rope tricks, and a western style obstacle course.
For the last ten years, Sheriff Marshall's team has won the Cookie Gulch Rodeo and he's hoping that his team will win this one for sure.
However, little does the crinkly sheriff know that he and his team are in for some serious competition this year as a new team hailing from Devil's Kitchen, a rough western town run by punk cubs 40 miles away from Cookie Gulch in the hottest area of the desert, stood a pack of punk cubs led by Molita the Rat and her teammates Gus, Brian, and Saffy.
However, Sheriff Marshall welcomes all challengers as long as they play by the rules and plays fair and square. (Marshall has dealt with some teams that were disqualified for dirty cheating in some of the rodeos in the past.) And with his trustworthy team of deputy Lea, deputy Davey, and even the mayor of Cookie Gulch, Mayor Digitz.
And to top it off, this year's rodeo sponsorship and guest judge is none other than Sir Bally, founder of Howdies Diapers, the most exclusive disposable diaper for rich folks. And he's putting 1,000,000 rainbow chocolate cookies in a golden trophy plus a year's supply of packs of Howdies Diapers as this year's grand prize. With a top prize that big, every team in the rodeo is now vying for the grand prize.
Will Sheriff Marshall's team win this year's rodeo and keep his winning streak?
Or will Molita and her pack of punk cubs win this year's rodeo and break Marshall's hard earned winning streak?
