I hate to say it, but there's no such thing as fair in the real world, you're not in An MMA fight when you're out on a field of war. Kicking your In the unmentionables or shooting him there for that matter, is completely fair game. There are some money things people would say isn't fair that are completely fair game when it comes to combat outside of a sporting event. Somebody that's trying to kill you and vice versa isn't going to hesitate about going for the eyes or genitals. When it comes to what advantage in combat close range. Likewise, in a reality where characters like this exist. There's going to be things like tail muzzle ears warns and antlers as well as body joints depending which species you're working with. Usually that's one of the big differences between Hollywood movies and combat in reality. In the real world, your opponent is going to go after any easily accessed week point there's no such thing as a low blow, or a legal tactic when it comes to life or death combat in the real world. That's why I've always found it ironic you don't see any military when their developing combat outfits making any attempt to provide any sort of protection in places like the crotch and other areas of weakness. They give you a metal helmet for on your head. That's obviously not bulletproof, but the intention is to help protect one of the more open weak points from things like the butt of a gun, but at the same time you're completely open to get that but driven in your crotch or the sides of your knees as two examples.
sorry I get a bit long-winded at times.i was the guy who got the crap beaten out of him on a daily basis for a significant portion of my life and that line . There is no fare in the real world never kind of leaves you.not been in that kind of situation sense around about the time I got a car and those guys started being concerned that I'd probably start running them over.
stuff I used to deal with when I get into it. People generally get the wrong impression. You should probably understand a lot of these guys didn't work alone. They were too scared to do something like that. In fact, I was around a few of them on their own by themselves and ironically they give me a wide berth it was when they got a few buddies to back them up that they became a real problem. It got to the point in high school that only the most screwed up and psychotic individuals were starting crap with me. One guy wanted to show off that he was a black belt. Bear in mind this guy was bigger than me and got upset pretty quickly when every time he tried to kick me he couldn't land a proper blotto and furthermore, I didn't just fall over. Grabbing his what ended up knocking him down. I don't know how many times. He ended up having four or five of his buddies help him out to get the job done. By the time high school really got rolling the only guys that were starting crap with the were about 100 pounds heavier than myself generally and would have two or three friends for backup. Didn't help matters that I had a series of rumors going around why I ended up going to school there. Guys that were starting trouble with me at home area were a lot more psycho. I lost track, he times I got beaten up by kids with hockey sticks weights of 2 x 4 in even baseball bats. The real twisted thing was these were kids a lot younger than myself, I would've literally been looking at jail time if I had actually heard one of them. They were kids around the age of 10 to 13 . They had what's called the Young offenders act and where I was 15. By that point I would've been facing serious criminal charges even for defending myself, it became quite an issue. I think there were even some newspaper stories about it. They were calling it swarming where young individuals ages 10 to about 13 or 14 would get in large groups and attacks single individuals robbing them and so forth. Literally came close to being on charges several times where I was fighting back and had cops coming to the house and so forth law is screwed up. That way. You can't prove they're using weapons is what it boiled down to. I got in a little bit of hot water a few times for biting guys bigger than myself. That was part of the reason a lot of those guys basically stuck to working in groups. One incident was a guy from the local baseball team somebody dared him to see from how firm way he could mail me with a rock guy basically just his pants was the end result. Mailed me square in the head last thing they expected was me to get back up, covered in blood and come have a conversation with him think. I had to have three stitches put in my head for that one . He thought he was pretty smug and bold smacking somebody in the head with a rock like it made him something special. I still know a few people that swear up and down that I bullied and beat up their little brother and they've got no idea that their little brother was part of a group of six or more kids going around with hockey sticks or whatever they could get their hands on and beating people up. Was a couple of times. I even ran into the little shits beating up on girls.i wasn't much of a fighter and I was a pretty small fellow. I was more the scratch and bite type . Most of them never got to find out what I was repressing and I got lucky that I never actually did any major damage to anybody. Few people got unlucky enough to take a brief glimpse of what I was doing a pretty decent job of keeping in line and they didn't exactly react too well to seeing what little 90 pound. Nobody was actually capable of. And that's why he wasn't punching people back. Was for the best that I never actually made contact and was always careful enough to not actually directly get somebody few people found out what I was actually capable of. And that was why they backed off. Thankfully, now that I'm about 40-ish I don't have to worry about punching somebody anymore and damn near killing them, if not outright killing them because of some fun stuff to do with the muscles in my body and reflex reaction. Also been lucky enough that I haven't had to be in a situation where there's not much choice in the matter about killing somebody, because the unfortunate truth is I don't have a problem with doing something like that. If it's necessary and unfortunately it's something you've got to live with, so I generally try to avoid that type of situation when it's possible. Haven't been in too many violent situations in over five years now everything's been nice and why it. Since my adopted father died everything quieted right down. Last couple years he got pretty difficult to deal with several incidents of him pulling steak knives on people and so forth. That's probably why people keep her marking about my level of self-control is either going to get me or somebody else killed. I'm one of those people that doesn't react appropriately when somebody pulls a knife or gun on them. So it's a miracle I've lived this long. My deep problems with aggression and so forth are why I try to avoid that kind of stuff at this point in my life. Sooner or later. Unfortunately, I'm going to end up in some situation where some idiot is beating on their wife or girlfriend and either I'm going to physically take the guy apart without thinking about it and end up in jail or the guys got a grabbed a butcher knife or something and slit my throat.
there's no level of honor in real combat. Unfortunately. People that expect it are usually the ones that get hurt the worst. Easily. Another thing is, a lot of people tend to over think the situation. The more that you're prone to not think about it and just do whatever and worry about it later, the more likely you are to probably survive. I have problems with too much self-control and it's a miracle it hasn't got me killed already have never been able to turn it off and let the darkness out to play. Only ever been able to just shut enough down to deal with somebody without actually hurting them, and trust me there's been a few people that needed to really see what should've been coming there way.
Well yes if we're talking warfare it makes sense to have rules in place "We promise not to use weapons that do severe damage to the environment or are needlessly cruel and painful so long as you promise to do the same. Also no torturing prisoners!"
But if encounter a thug on the street I'm already going to assume he has no interest in fair play and I'm going to do everything I can to survive.

I actually mentioned The Charter of Nîmes is in the original Fur World novel (may I live long enough to complete it) but I didn't go into much detail. The idea came to me at one of those interminable meetings that was basically the users sitting around arguing with each other and the IT people rolling their eyes. It's one part Magna Carta, one part Geneva Convention and a sprinkling of the Declaration of Independence and some of The Federalist Papers.
