Vampire Connection
Leading Up
The group emerged from the water some time later. It was a good thing since it was time for lunch and they were hungry. The all devoured the sea food that was prepared. “Mmmm that was good!” Drake replied, petting his stomach.
“So what now?” Naomi asked.
“For now it’s free time due to what’ll happen tonight,” Ellie answered.
“What is it?” Nicholas asked.
“There will be fireworks latter tonight,” the spirit fox answered. She looked to the male vampire and Lora with a smug grin as if it was just to them. Both blushed but smiled. “Of course you don’t have to come, but I’m going to watch them.”
Everyone then went off in their own separate groups. The two vampires were walking on the beach again. “Should we watch them?” he asked her now that they were alone.
“They sound like they’d be fun and beautiful,” she replied with a smile.
“Then… we’ll definitely do that…” Nicholas said.
“Mmm!” Lora replied with a big smile and eyes closed.
“Also… listen… during that, I really need to tell you something.”
“Oh?” she asked, growing serious. “Can’t you say it now?”
“No… It has to be during that time. I want it where we can be alone…”
“Then I will listen,” Lora whispered. “I promise.” In her mind and heart, she had been thinking of telling Nicholas how she felt then and was determined to say it. So the two just spent the rest of the afternoon, mentally preparing themselves with what they would say and for that night. Nicholas grabbed a hoddie he had brought with him to be on the safe side in case it got cold. The hours seemed to fly by before the sun began to set. It had finally come down to this and whether they would finally come together.
