And finally we have the part of me and her hooking up. Things can only get better.

Vampire Connection
Coming Together
Nicholas emerged with the hoodie over his right shoulder from his room and made it outside. The male vampire saw the big bon fire on the beach and knew that’s where the area would happen for dinner at least. He made his way over and saw only some of his group where there. At least the fire would be good for cooking food. The long-haired male then felt the presence of someone behind him and turned to find Lora standing there, still in her bikini, but this time having added a flower to her hair. It matched her outfit. “Lora…” Nicholas breathed, stunned by how beautiful the female vampire was.
She smiled up at the guy and blushed. “Come on, I’m hungry,” Lora said simply.
The two didn’t have to wait long for dinner which was sea food cooked in the bon fire along with other things to go with it. At the end, s’mores were made and it was a perfect desert to end the meal. By this point, night had fallen. And while talking and laughs had been shared by the group of friends and adults, the time for the fireworks was on Nicholas’s and Lora’s mind the most. Everyone was then told that those would go off in ten minutes. The male vampire jerked his head to the side to the female one that he wanted to move. They ended up walking down that same area they had on the first day. The two were quiet for a bit but then began to talk about how the year had gone for them. But then Nicholas realized what time it was. “Should we head back?” he asked.
“Yeah… before the fireworks go off,” Lora answered. She suddenly shivered.
“You okay?” he asked, noticing this,
“Oh! I’m fine.”
“Lora… I can tell you’re cold. Here.” Nicholas took off his hoodie and gave it to the female vampire. “Just hold onto this until we get back to our rooms tonight.”
“Thank you…” She put it on.
“It smells like Nicholas…” Lora thought. The female vampire blushed hard but did so, loving the warmth.
They were soon back near the fire and by some of the palm trees. Nobody was paying the two any mind. “This should be a good place,” the male said to her. Lora nodded.
“So… you had something to say to me, right?” she asked.
“I did, didn’t I?” he replied and took a deep breath. “It’s… kinda hard for me to say…”
“Just spit it out.”
Nicholas gathered his nerves. “It’s just… saying it has been the hardest part due to certain things. But not anymore… This night I’m going to say it. It’s a perfect one for it.”
“It really is a nice night…” the female vampire whispered, agreeing. “So many stars are out to… they’re so beautiful…”
“Maybe…” the male replied softly, just now going with it. Their hands come together. “But… I wouldn’t use the word beautiful for them… It applies to you more…”
“He… He thinks I’m beautiful…?” Lora wondered in her head and couldn’t believe it. While the guy had said it before, this time in this moment he really meant it instead of just trying to be nice. The two vampire teens found the other’s eyes, staring deep as though they could see the soul of the other. Nicholas’s right hand came up to touch Lora’s face. She tilted her head to the side and leaned up, her heart racing in anticipation. It was him who closed that little bit of distance and the lips connected. The female’s arms came up to wrap around the male, her tongue meeting Nicholas’s. While it was Lora’s true first kiss, she was doing great. And the fireworks went off at the same time.
Eventually the two teens pulled back, smiling and panting slightly as they got their breath back. Nicholas kissed Lora’s forehead and she giggled, pulling him in with her arms. The guy’s chin rested on her right shoulder. “That… that’s what I wanted to do to tell you…” he whispered into her ear. “I love you Lora… I always have since we danced at Homecoming.”
“And I love you…” she replied softly, pulling back to look at the male vampire in the face, one hand coming up to touch the left side of Nicholas’s face. “Ever since the day you rescued me…”
The two vampires came in for another kiss, not even caring about the fireworks anymore but only on the other. They came apart again with a hug. “Mmmm, this is even better than I dreamed it would be,” Lora whispered.
“I know what you mean,” Nicholas said softly before pulling back to look her in the eyes. “But now I need to ask… Lora, will you go out with me?”
“Yes; yes I would love to!” the female replied hugging him again. The two were happier than ever. The new couple spent the rest of the time in hugs and kisses before walking back hand in hand. He dropped her off at her room where they kissed again before heading back to their bed with the dreams filled with thoughts about the other. Things were only going to get better for the two.
