Ship with a reputation for big hauls of treasure pulling up, and all the crew emptying out to go hit the taverns, inns, back alleys, and other sinful places? It's like they're -asking- to be robbed!

Well, yes. As would-be groups of robbers often find out, not everybody stationed on the Audacious goes ashore. In fact, there's one important crew member that stays aboard the ship by herself, because nobody wants to be caught alone with her and eaten for supper! So she's always quite happy when someone throws a rope into one of the open portholes on the side. All she's gotta do is swallow the grappling hook, wait for someone to poke their head through the porthole, and start slurping. Wouldn't want to slurp too early, y'know. Or too hard. You do that, you might yank the rope away from the guy on the end and lose out on a meal. She's practiced this sort of thing fairly often, though, and doesn't often lose out on a meal anymore.

And thus, another group of pirates went sailing down Marianne's trench. :3
