The next in the Radioactive Phoenixes series: Americium. Unlike Radium, this piece is a bit more light-hearted. Americium is more widely used than you may realize, and you likely have this element in your home, hiding within your smoke detector. It is an entirely synthetic (not found in nature) element that is of little danger to us, granted you don't collect a bunch of smoke detectors and dismantle them.

This phoenix is loud and can smell even the tiniest amount of smoke. You can't ignore it, and even if you're sound asleep, this phoenix will make sure you wake up if it sees even a wisp of smoke! Annoying when you're cooking, but will literally save your life if you're in bed and unaware.
