Amperage has the power to generate and control electricity. She can unleash powerful electrical blasts, fly by manipulating electro-magnetic forces, override and control electrical equipment, as well as many other similar feats. At the most extreme use of her power she can actually transmute her body into a living electrical current. Unfortunately for her, unlike most super-hero types, she doesn't have a magic costume that conforms to her powers, so when she reverts back to normal after such a transformation, it can lead to some... interesting situations.

A military brat, Amperage's father was a high-ranking admiral. She followed in his footsteps growing up but all of her accomplishments at the academy were haunted by the spectre of nepotism. No matter what she did the assumption was always that she earned the accolades and opportunities that she did based on her father's clout rather than her own merits. As a result she grew increasingly reckless in an attempt to prove herself, a flaw that still follows her.
