Auran is watcher of ghosts roaming the area and helps noble spirits and innocent souls find their way to the afterlife. While evil souls and ghost type pokemon that want to cause trouble he seeks them out and either devours them or exorcises them out of whatever they are haunting so they dont cause anymore trouble in the area. The symbol on his belly help keep the ghosts from phasing out of his belly so when he goes the spirit world where most ghosts go he releases them to let them wander there to see if they can find peace in the afterlife or they end up in a worse place. Sometimes he keeps some souls and ghost pokemon in his belly cause he likes the feeling of them swirling around inside and also has taking a craving for sableye since he is part ghost he wont get digested but can feed off his darkness a bit to help fuel his powers and releases him later so the sableye can be able to feed off another source of dark later. Can also seperate his spirit from his body and wander the world if there is anyone in trouble or if there is a ghost type he wants to devour.
