Tori's homeworld of Annwn is a tiny ice planet that orbits a Blue Dwarf star. This star constantly bombards Annwn with a harmless form of radiation. Its only effect is that any human born on Annwn will have snowy white hair which grows at an astronomical rate. If left untouched, it will grown to ankle length in under a month. The hair is also naturally soft and very fluffy.

Males usually keep their hair short, while females and young children will let it stay long. Both males and females who enter the military will shave their heads during training, then keep it short upon graduation, trimming it daily to keep it at regulation length.

It is traditional to cut one's own hair. Having one's hair cut by someone else is considered an intimate act, and is typically reserved for parents to their young children, or two people who are lovers.

Tori lets her hair grow to about shoulder length. Due to its lightness and years spent in zero gravity, It has become rather wild. ;P
