Here's a project I've been working on recently. A Facebook friend asked if I would be able to make a parrot to go with his pirate costume after seeing one of my puppets out and about at a Steampunk event, so of course I was up for the challenge :)
This guy is made from foam, faux fur, vinyl and fleece fabrics, his eyes are hand painted and made with plastic baubles to give them the 3D effect. He has clips on each foot so he can be clipped onto a jacket, and has a removable pirate hat and waistcoat.
I got to see the complete costume at Asylum Festival last weekend and it was great, I love being able to bring things like this to life!
