Alternate title: Bloodbork.
This is one of the pictures that premiered at the Eurofurence 24 art show. Right away, you can tell I went in a little different direction this time. - and I just want to make it clear right here: No, something like this isn't available for commissions, sorry! It's just way too much work. x3
The backstory behind this picture: While I drawing I tend to either listen to music or watch let's plays on youtube. I do have Tinnitus, so it helps me keep focused and relaxed when I have something to drown out the noise. With Bloodborne, a game I have never been able to play because of the lack of a PS4, I watched a let's play because I was fascinated by the games' art design.
When the time for Eurofurence drew closer and I was contemplating ideas for the art show, the idea for a Bloodborne inspired picture popped into my head. Originally I wanted to draw something much closer to my usual style, but I hesitated when I thought about how much work the lineart would be, with all the details and such. So instead - originally to save time - I tried a digitial painting sorta technique. I started out with the head and from there slowly worked my way downwards. By the time I was finished with the character, I was so exhausted, I wished I had stuck to my regular style. x3
Still though, this was a damn good decision, because the way this picture came together after the character was finished, really drew myself in. Despite it being probably the hardest picture I have worked on so far, the final result was worth all the long hours spent, trying to get all the details right.
I am incredibly happy that I was able to pull this picture off, and I am grateful that someone purchased this piece in the art show and took it home with them. :3

I love this so much, this Looks completely different to anything i know of you so far, i love the Style, the Lightning... the amount of detail you put into it <3 Doesn't mean your others are bad of Course! dear god no! But this...is just wow. I loved it back in the Artshow already.
Immer gerne, wie schon andere angemerkt haben, ich hätte es nie als eines von deinen Bildern erkannt wenn ichs nicht wüsste, mit dem Bild hast du dich definitiv noch einmal selbst übertroffen in meinen Augen. Es ist schwer zu entscheiden was mir hier am besten gefällt, der Hintergrund? Der Detailreichtum? Das Licht? Mir gefällt auch sehr wie du das Fell vom Wolf/Werwolf dargestellt hast. Wenn du wieder so ein Bild machst, freu ich mich jetz schonmal drauf :3 Ich möchte nicht wissen wie viel Blut und Wasser du geschwitzt hast beim zeichnen dieses Bildes, aber das wars auf jedenfall wert^^
The new/different style here really paid off! And really nice it did well at the Art show! To be honest the very first time I saw it hanging at the gallery, I didn't even recognise it as yours at all!

Too often I just favourite something, and say 'That's cool' or something. It's a habit I need to break. Your artwork, Dream and Nightmare, is breathtaking; you mesh the gritty interpretation of Bloodborne's Victorian style with a truly etherial wolfman. He's so handsome, so mysterious, and very heroic. You have spent a great deal of time on the background of this piece, and it shows. Thank you very much for this amazing work. :)
Hey, I appreciate any comment that is well intentioned. :3 There is so much great artwork out there, that it is nigh impossible to do all of it justice in terms of commenting. So don't feel bad if you don't know what to say besides "That's cool" under a picture. :3

The fact that you stepped out of your usual norm of art style to draw this is astounding. That level of detail work is insane to pull off and sure it might take a great amount of time, but oh man the pay off to marvel in the awe of it is well worth imo. Especially for a great series like Bloodbourne (that suit and eerie old century background is just marvelous )
This is magical. The background is amazingly done, the highlights on not only the wolf and the buildings but also on the ground and the slight fog coming up is breathtaking. Now I want to play this game to be on PC (if it already is I don't know) for someone to make a mod where you can play as your fursona.

Der Detailreichtum in dem Bild ist einfach Wahnsinn, alles so crisp und clean vom Cloak über den Mantel bis hin zu den Gebäuden im Hintergrund.
Der Stil ist ein völlig anderer als den, den man von dir kennt, hätte ich, wenn ich das Bild in der Artshow + Namen nicht gesehen hätte, nicht gedacht, dass das von dir kommt - ist dir echt super gelungen!

Dankeschön! :3 Schon im Vorfeld, als ich Asyr und anderen das während des Zeichnes gezeigt habe, waren die Kommentare immer, dass man es nie als ein Bild von mir erkannt hätte, weil der Stil so anders ist. Das ist schon irgendwie cool. :3
Wenn ich wieder sowas mache, dann aber auf jeden Fall etwas, das weniger an eine Vorlage gebunden ist. Der Anspruch alles bis auf das kleinste Detail nachzubilden hat mir ganz schön zugesetzt. Aber durch die vielen lieben Kommentare, hab ich auf jeden Fall die Motivation sowas nochmal zu probieren.

Ist manchmal nur schwer die richtigen Worte zu finden ^^;
Kann ich mir schon gut vorstellen, dass da viele Stunden Arbeit reingeflossen sind, vor allem, weil du sicherlich auch "umdenken" musstest in dem anderen Stil, damit es "gut" aussieht - ist wie mit Fotobearbeitung, wenn man was neues rausgefunden hat, versucht man mit bereits gelernten Techniken drauf aufzubauen um die Bilder noch interessanter zu machen ^^

There are just to many comments so you may not see this, but if you do this is my new favorite picture by you. I love Halloween style art, and this picture looks like the best werewolf picture I've seen since Cheetahpaws made that "Trick or treat?" one years ago. I wish there were more pictures like this out there. Keep up the good work.
I can't help but be reminded of the visual style of the band Fields of the Nephilim, particularly the cover art for their album Dawnrazor. I'm sure it's entirely coincidental; I doubt there's any connection between Fields of the Nephilim and Bloodborne, but it's amusing just the same. Very nice work!
Also, I totally feel you in regards to tinnitus. Quiet rooms are so "loud" to me.
