I'm going to try and avoid flooding all of you with pottery, since I know that's not really what this site is for... but I'm just so proud of some of the things from this show and I want to let all of you see what I've been doing in my absence.
I had a gallery showing in a local art walk, and it was AMAZING. I had such a great time. Being able to showcase my work that I had spent SO much time on was a real boost for me, and I've been working on different techniques to apply my illustration to my pottery.
This first image is a large brown jar. Please excuse the angles on the images... my friend Bry took them at the show. I didn't have time to get proper slides made of the work.

Great. It's a friend from NY and then a local here, at least one will be coming with me. We just need to see when he can can get away, as his schedule is a bit more rigid than mine. We're going to do the Warhol museum, art and natural history museums, and the Mattress Factory at the very least.
