Hey! It's been a while since Lyra didn't see her half sister Karina.

The younger sister Lyra's mother had few years after. As you can see she's a full shark, Lyra's parents separated to find mates of their own species after their first child.

Despite their young love they realized being a cross-species couple was too difficult to build a stable family, being rejected by both feline and shark community. Seeing most of society rejecting Lyra because she was a weird hybrid made them decide it was better to break up.

That's how Lyra ended up with Karina, her anarchist sharkie half-sister. They share their rebellious and fierce mindset, but unlike Lyra, Karina proven unable to channel it into burning desire to win. As Lyra was working hard to prove to the entire world the hybrid baby they were mocking is way better than them, Karina was going renegade, drinking beer and vandalizing stuff for fun.

Now working as employee in a punk accessories shop, she use her daily contact with fellows to join them in vandalizing or rival fighting from time. The shark lady being well known for her ferocity.
