"Just keep your eyes on the ball..."
Alrightyyyyyyy, so there's this duo called 2manydjs which consists of David Dewaele and Stephen Dewaele and they created a project called Radio Soulwax, a collection of hour-long mixes. A certain series caught my attention, which was their Under The Covers mixes. (My buddy Shockwave talked a loooooooooot about these over here if you're interested, and you should be, cause the UTC mixes are neat.) The first one I listened to is UTC volume 2 and I am very thankful for listening to it because it's sooooooo hecking good. OUO So good, there was this one part that inspired me to draw the album cover that was being shown at said part, which happened to be Boys Noize & Erol Alkan's "Avalanche / Lemonade" album (though it was just Lemonade that was playing during the mix). Anyway yeahhhhh, that's the backstory behind this. Maaaaybe I could change the title so it's not really referring to Radio Soulwax but that's what exposed me to this album cover and I thiiiiink I might do more in the future? I dunno.
Anywaaaaaaaaay, about the art itself, I did the same thing I did with my Suketoudara drawing which was dropping everything and only focusing on drawing until I finished, and I'm very happy with the results, even if it's sorta rough around the edges here and there. .u.
