The mad scientist I mentioned in GlowSpine/Marcos's backstory? It was Hickory. He found the now-former human in a makeshift campsite in the woods, brought him into his lab, and mutated him while he was asleep. Lesson learned: be careful camping out in strange places or this is one of a few things that might happen to you.
