Here's the twins' parents again from here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2531072
Only these are headshots of Jan's parents as well. You know, Jan's and Look & Leer's dads being the Butterfree Brothers and all. They grew up in Ireland before they moved to Japan.
Look and Leer's father is, of course, the younger of the two with a carefree attitude. He was always spotted from the ground by his favorite scarlet scarf wrapped around his neck. Flynn Aidan O’Féileacán's first flight on a plane so inspired him (perhaps because he was a flying type) that he grew determined to study to become an airline pilot. During his training, he met a lovely beautifly flight attendant who also happened to have an Irish heritage but wasn't raised there. She went by the name of Nancy and the two easily fell hard and fast for one another. They soon got married and had a pair of twins (whom most of you reading this should know by now). Unfortunately, being the 'flighty', impulsive pair they were/are, the couple didn't consider how their careers would affect their family lives or their children and thus hardly ever spent time at home. Benjamin, the kakuna kid they sort of 'adopted', ended up watching and practically raising the twins once they were old enough to walk and communicate.
While Flynn and Nancy still share the majority of their time together, whether on a plane or in a hotel, it is not known how often they think of their children or how aware they are of the attention-seeking behavior of their twins. They recently came to have a third child, a purple wurmple daughter by the name of Wink, whom Look and Leer are immensely jealous of but who loves them dearly. Nancy and Flynn have been home more often as of late to raise Wink until she's old enough to live without her parents catering to her every whim as an infant. However, more often than not, Nancy simply brings Wink along on their flights with them, so their house has been pretty much empty since Look and Leer got back from America and decided to move into their dorms. Their parents probably don't know they already returned from America and the twins doubt they give a damn. Nancy and Flynn may seem pretty neglectful, despite their saving Benjamin from an abusive father, because they never discouraged their boys from the Irish whiskey and other alcohol they kept around the house for 'special occasions'.
Leer seems to have inherited his uncle's traits and complains less than Look, whose name does imply his tendency to seek out attention more often than his brother despite being the older of the two. Leer's imaturity rivals his brother's daytime temper once the moon comes out, however, and Look becomes more mellow. They seem to switch roles depending on what time of day which twin is more active.
Flynn's older brother, on the other hand, is much more sensible. After a few years of living in Japan, Feidhlim Alroy O’Féileacán sought the hand of a Japanese-born-and-raised yanma woman (Name yet to be discovered x_x I've yet to ask her) and settled down. Their daughter, however, seemed to be more like her reckless, red-haired uncle in that she could never stay still and was constantly zipping about the house in an attempt to evade her mother's dress-up sessions. Dolling up her daughter for tea-parties with Nancy, the yanma woman never seemed to consider the rubber-band effect. Having been forced into girly outfits all her life, Janet immediately began 'borrowing' Look and Leer's clothes once they had caught up to her in size and she was old enough to dress herself. She soon shortened her name to the less feminine nick form of 'Jan'. Since then she's reacted negatively whenever her masculinity was challenged, though she submits to her mother's feminine pampering at home. Usually when she's around the twins, her father's sensibility dominates her demeanor. Unless she strikes up a temper, of course.
Wow, I've put more about their children than them! o_o Maybe I'll put more about the parents later, when I actually need to rp them. Anyway, Flynn and Feidhlim (fell-em) still speak in their thick Irish accent, which they never completely got rid of. Feidhlim gave up drinking once his daughter was born, but Nancy and Flynn were too fond of wine and whiskey to ever give it up. Instead, they somehow got their children addicted as it became a common household drink. At least a lot of the twins behavior might be explained now, I hope? I gotta do some family portraits sometime...
EDIT: February 6, 2010 - Janet's mother's name is Tonbo, and her maiden name was Kagerou before she married Feidhlim Alroy O’Féileacán.
