In early 2015, I did a number of acrylic plein air paintings of my local greenbelt in Austin. In specific, since we'd had a lot of rainfall, the creek was particularly full and I dedicated a handful of these to studying water in particular. This piece was the first in my study of such.
I probably worked for about 90 minutes on this one.
