I really lvoe how it's head on too. It's amazing how the world around him/her is reflected so clearly in the eye.

this photograph of the donkey's eye is FANTASTIC. I love how you can see another equine reflected in his glassy eyes. There's something really moving about the fact that you almost can't see the eye at all for the reflection...

Isn't it? And if you look carefully you can see two equines reflected in this donkey's eye.

I simply LOVE donkey eyes, there was a jennet at a farm down the street from me when I lived in MA, she had such cute eyes, they had the white around them but the lashes were half as long as my index finger and curled upwards a bit n looked sooo cute, her markings were awesome too. awesome pic. : )

Very, she was awesome had typical donkey markings but very defined and clean, like she had the white belly that tracked down the inside of her legs, she had the almost drawn on looking cross on her back, the white around the eyes and nose, the dark around the edge of her ears white inside.
She would hug you if you started petting her, she like put her head over your shoulder and pulled you against her for hugs, it was so cute, shed get all sad if you walked away and stopped petting her and would follow you all over the place, push up against you if you stopped paying attention to her and stuff.
Some day I think I'ma own a couple because they seemed like they made such great friends lol, though the male that was there was a little bastard and had a hell of an attitude, and the other female would always try to nip ya or shoo the others away.
I guess its awesome they all have their own little personalities, I hope if I ever own one it's as awesome as Jenny : ) lol she never had a name so one day me and the owners son named her "Jennifer" so we could call her Jenny, witch is what she is, we're lame but we were only 14 so stupid humor was the in thing.

Awww. That's a cute story. I've had similar experiences with donkeys and own a handful at the moment so I'm a little biased.
