Meet ioco, the Siberian Husky!
***********
Raised in Canada by a Russian father and french-Canadian mother of the same Siberian Husky breed, and named for where his parents met and made their new life together, ioco grew up around the Imperial Oil refinery in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada that his parents worked and lived at, lifting and pulling barrels to make some extra bucks as a kid. His natural abilities towards the job, thanks largely to his breed but also his happy-go-lucky attitude, gave him great respect around the community until he left to pursue other things. He can often be found treking through the rivers and trails of the North shore, and has been known to offer friends sledding rides through the ski-hills and mountains of the area.
Always friendly, giving, and constantly looking for fun, ioco hugs first and asks questions later. If you see him, he'll probably oblige you too!
***********
Yes, he's a husky, and yes, i too think it's a little silly how many huskies have turned up lately. In actuality, my first fursona was a husky, and I have always loved them, but I only found the local community when I took my dolphin character. ioco is my attempt to get back to my roots and play a character whom reflects a slightly different part of me - my caring side. .. and I can't thank Scribblefox (www.onefurall.com) enough for blowing me away so completely with his ability to build a character as incredible as ioco is.

As I noted, I actually started as a husky on Second Life. I changed to a dolphin more for the novelty of doing so, but I have always identified with huskies. Either way, ioco is another character I look forward to exploring and showing to the community!
And yes, he was named for an area in the metro vancouver area, and yes, there's a street named after that area as well.

I happen to live quite close to the very street, too.And hey, if you've identified yourself with huskies, that's exactly who you are, but for many of us, you'll always be our favourite lovable dolphin :D
We should meet up on Second Life sometime - Mikau Candour is my name on there.

I'm so glad you are so happy with him! He was a real pleasure to build him for you!! *hugs* I look forward to seeing the further adventures of ioco! :D If anyone would like to see another set of ioco pics, you can check out his gallery on the One Fur All Studios website - http://www.onefurall.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=130
