Read it. It's short, it's epic, and it's easily the best scifi novel I've read in possibly ever.

Enders Game? Great Scott that was a good book. Bean's Shadow was good as well. never got a chance to read the other books by OSC

Ender's Shadow is the name, but yes, it is about Bean. :] I've just begun reading it. I've been told the Shadow [Bean] series is a little better than the Ender series, after Ender's Game. Ionno. I just know that I love them so far. :]

Ender's Shadow is really a great book and a must read. I found it to be more interesting than Ender's Game. I hope that you'll find the novel enjoyable. :D

I read the Book before, This is a very awesome way of showing the battlerooms since I also kinda imagined it to be like this way as well. Great job on this one. -thumbs up- :D

For sure! I don't think I've really seen any Ender fanart before, let alone furry. :) I love that series.

I've read Ender's Game, and then the Shadow half through Shadow Puppetssss. Next is Shadow of the Giant, and then I'll go back to reading Ender's side. >>; Eeeee. Love these books. Not digging the strong Christian overtones at the part I'm reading, but eh, I can let it slide for now.

Strong Mormon overtones actually. I never finished Ender's Game (made the mistake of reading Shadow at around the same time) but it's definitely one of my favorite books ever. The Shadow series (the first three) has to be my favorite series ever. I can't believe nobody ever mentions Achilles' 'fetus attack'. Seriously, out of context it's hilarious.

No idea. We don't even have a teaser trailer yet. It'll be directed by Gavin Hood who co-wrote the script with Card and so far all I know is that most of the Battle Room scenes will be cut.

Same here, since the games show off how incredibly intelligent Ender is and one of the strategies used there plays a crucial part in the plot later on.

Card says we'll get one or two battles at most and that the reason why the Games are being cut out is because "Harry Potter has proven that Quidditch isn't fun to watch."

My guess is he never read any of the Potter books because Quidditch sucked to read, too. The Games, however, were one of the fantastic parts of the book and it would be nice to have an intelligent Science Fiction movie pull it off.

So if the movie sucks we can, for once, blame the author for it.

The two main differences seem to be 1.) Bean is a completely different character (even if you haven't read the Shadow series) and 2.) Petra isn't the one that has the nervous breakdown (it'll probably be Bean instead). My only guess is that the studio (and maybe even Orson) were scared of accusations of sexism.
