This commission came at a perfect time because i'm currently very involved with the local birds so having a bird themed commission was just perfect timing. I had to really get into scupting humans again after all these anthro sculptures so it was awesome that i could do a bust once more because those are just a great practice.

When sculpting this face i was kinda looking at old classic paintings of women because i thought the kind of facial structure that was popular back then would work well with this soft, timid character. They often have a gentleness in their eyes which i like and usually harpys are portrayed as either violent or oversexed so contrasting that with a Madonna face just seemed.. interesting :D And it was fun!
Still kinda sad about the whole EF drama (yea im still not over that..) but im trying my best to get into normal commissions again :)
