(Gift) Super Akaji Blimp floats through the sky! <3
So, I had the pleasure of talking to 
Akaji_Yui, after seeing him pretty sad on Twitter, and...it really tugged at my heart. I don't quite know what compelled me to volunteer, but my heart hurt so much to see that kind of sadness. I could relate to it, since I've found myself feeling left out when friends are featured in some awesome stuff, and not me; I'd never want to take that away, and I'd be happy for them, but I'd wish I could be in something nice every now and then. >w<; With that in mind, I wanted to make something special for Akaji, even if I might not be an amazing artist; I love what I do, and I had so, SO much fun while making this! And his reactions the whole way truly touched me, and he's the sweetest little thing. ;w; I hope this brings you joy for a time, Akaji, I poured my whole heart into it! I truly enjoyed making this, and I'd love to draw you again, and again, if you would allow me. <3
Now, to explain the scene itself, Akaji was fairly vague with what he wanted, allowing me to think of something myself; his only request was for it to be puffy, and shiny, two things I love, and I hope I was able to nail it. XD I wanted to surprise him by going for B I G, and I thought I'd try to make it really cutesy; here we are, floating up in the sky, while I can see my house off in the distance, while this very huge cutie is wobbling along up in the air. I won't lie, I just wanna snuggle this big, precious boy, but I think staying in my basket is the safest thing. XP
When I started drawing this, I was accidentally using an outdated reference for Akaji, the one where he's wearing the "Baka" shirt, so...I thought I'd reference that with the strap belted around his wide bulk. I certainly don't think Akaji's dumb, though, he's super sweet! He oughta be wearing a "#1 Cinnamon Roll" shirt. XD <3
