I needed something to do with my hands while I was hanging out with friends, so I wanted to doodle Blue in a big comfy sweater (I love them so much). It sort of evolved as I did it from a fashion piece to a scenic portrait one.

Lots of experimentation with this one! A rainy back drop, washi tape worked into her clothes and blankets with pencil shading... This is the first time I've tried to render the new colors in traditional media, and it was a CHALLENGE. I will either need to accept her being VERY purple, so I'll need to go out and buy the specific shades I need for her. I don't mind these colors too badly though.

Photographing traditional work is always a struggle. I fussed with this so much afterwards to try to even out the colors. I really need to get a scanner or a ring light or something.
