bigvixie asked: "For a lot of your preds, when does someone become 'food'? is it when they're first seen? when they're grabbed, or some other time? And is there anyone who would be prone to letting someone out, even if they're halfway down their gullet?"
The answer to this question probably varies a bit from pred to pred, and also depending on which setting it’s in. However, in general, I think the answer is “once they’re in the belly.” Before that, they’re “prey;” not quite yet “food,” but potentially food. (This is probably why I don’t usually draw prey escaping – once they’re in the belly, they’re done, no matter what. If they’re gonna escape, they need to do it before then.)
So anyway, have a picture of Hoodie Fox (hoodie currently down), cradling a belly full of what is most definitely now “food.”
