Tar Troubles in the Pride Lands! (Commission)
A 15 Dollar Commission for 
marillon954, about a few of the members of "The Lion Guard" ending up getting tared!
All Lion Guard characters belongs to Disney.
Sometimes even the most peaceful of days can be a bit boring at times, and that was leaving some members of The Lion Guard a bit restless.
One of those was Beshte the Hippo, who wasn't doing anything besides resting in a nearby pond.
It wasn't like he was wishing for something bad to happen with the Pride Lands, but if there was just somebody that could be in need of his help today.
Being in the middle of his thoughts Besthe's ears picked up the sound of some grass moving, and looking at a nearby bush he could see that there was something moving around there!
Making himself ready for whatever was coming Beshte got positively surprised when he saw that it was none other then Jasiri, the friendly Hyena girl from the Outlands.
"Jasiri! What a wonderful surprise to see you here!" Besthe said happily as Jasiri herself was equally delighted to met the friendly Hippo before then asking, "Say Besthe, have you seen Kion around here?"
"Oh, sorry Jasiri! But today Kion is gone with his father on a very important diplomatic mission." Besthe explained, as a great look of disappointment could be seen on Jasiri's face.
"What's the matter?" Besthe asked as Jasiri started to explain that, "I have been asked to baby-sit the two Hyena cubs Wema and Tunu, and I promised them that I would bring an extra playmate with me to them."
"Well, if you want then I can come with you." Beshte said as this made Jasiri really lighten up again as she asked him, "You would actually do that for me?"
"A Hippo never makes a promise he can not keep." Beshte said as he and Jasiri started to head towards the Outlands to meet the cubs.
Back in the Outlands the two cubs was just playing by themselves as they waited for Jasiri to return back, and they where in for a bit of a surprise when she came back looking empty handed at first.
"I'm sorry to tell you that I couldn't get Kion to come back with me as I had promised." Jasiri said at first before then leaving a bit of a pause and adding "So instead I got one of his friends Besthe to join me!", presenting the big waddling Hippo kid to the two stunned Hyena cubs.
"WOW! SO COOL!!!" Both of them shouted as Besthe soon found himself fully surrounded by the two little ones running around him, as neither of them had ever got to see a Hippo so up close before.
"Are you really just a kid like us?"
"Your belly is HUGE!"
"How strong are those big jaws?"
Many was the questions that Besthe was being given as he could feel the little once running all around and underneath him, giving him some playful pats on the big guts of his when running between his thick legs.
"Okay, take it easy there you two! I know that Besthe is here just to play with us, but give him a chance to introduce himself at least." Jasiri said as Besthe started to explain to them who he was, and about his role as the Strongest member on the team.
"Does that mean that you can handle all 3 of us standing on your back? Wema asked amazed, as Besthe just said "Sure. Get on top of me!" before then having all 3 hyenas pretty quickly rounded up onto his big back.
Taking them out for a small walk through the Outlands both Wema and Tunu could not believe that they where actually riding on the back of a real Hippo, as Beshte himself tried his best to know where to go next.
Jasiri herself was also enjoying the view until she noticed where Besthe was heading, and quickly shouted "Look out Besthe! The ground there is pretty weak!" to him.
But she was a bit to late on that as Besthe's one foot had already made contact and burst through the weak ground due to his huge weight, sending the rest of him to fall into the pit he had created!
The weak ground also revealed to be the location of another Tar pit, and as Beshte was sinking pretty quickly down into it Jasiri knew she had to act fast!
Grabbing both of the cubs into the neck with her teeth Jasiri quickly made two toss motions to send them flying onto some safe grounds, while she herself was getting her paws absorbed by the Tar as all of Besthe's back was being consumed!
Wema and Tunu watched on as both Besthe and Jasiri got swallowed up, leaving them fearing that the two of them was now gone forever.
Luckily for them after only a few second big bubbles could be seen getting made as the large head of Besthe was seen rising, as his big jaws let out a giant gasp for air!
Being all but blind from having his eyes shut closed by the Tar the strong Hippo kid still showed why he was the strongest member by dragging himself back out of the pit and onto solid land!
"Jasiri! Are you still with me?" Besthe asked as he tried to turn his head enough to look back, and looking over the two cubs could see that Jasiri also was with him, as she was now completely pinned stuck to the big Hippo's back.
"Yes, I'm fine! I just can't move." Jasiri said, as she couldn't help but laugh a little bit over how silly it was looking with her unable to move even a little bit.
Having Wema and Tunu help get the Tar out of the eyes of Beshte the Hippo kid could once again see, as he pretty quickly noticed that both he and Jasiri was looking quite messy now.
"I think that I need to get the two of us back to the Pridelands, so that we can find a waterhole to clean ourselves up a bit." Beshte said as he then added that, "And just to keep the kids safe I think we should also have Wema and Tunu follow us."
"That's sounds completely fine with me, so will you kids make sure to stick close to Besthe?" Jasiri asked before Besthe then felt how he got some more weight onto himself, and noticed that it was Wema and Tunu jumping up and sticking themselves to his tar covered butt.
"I'm pretty sure I wont be able to lose them now." Besthe said, as the now completely black coloured Hippo stated to make his way back home, while carrying with him the three Hyenas as temporary cargo on his journey.
Upon returning into the Pride Lands while carrying the three Hyenas onto his tar covered body, Besthe was not being aware that he wasn't the only one that was returning home at the moment.
Just around the corner behind some bushes walked Kion, who had just been coming back after his very important diplomatic mission with his father at the tribe with Ocelots.
Thanks to the large growing vegetation neither of the two was noticing each other, but that was soon to change as the wall separating them would be all but gone in just a few more feet.
Once the line between them was gone Kion took a look to his right and saw this big black gooey creature, with a second head rising up from it's back, and a couple of extra tails wagging out from it's back starring back at him!
It was more then enough to make the otherwise so brave Lion cub to up and run away in the opposite direction while screaming for his life, not seeing where he was going even!
Besthe was about to tell Kion that it was only him when he heard a loud "SLOSH!!!" sound to be made, and having a pretty good ear on what that sound meant he very rushed over to where Kion had gone.
Just as he feared it was yet another small Tar pit that Kion had been running into without looking, and he already seemed to be completely submerged in it!
Seeing a pretty huge and thick branch laying next to the pit Besthe very quickly pushed that thing over and let it partly get sucked into the pit, as after few second a very Tar covered paw could be seen reaching up and grabbing onto it!
As Kion was struggling to get himself out from the Tar trap Besthe let out a sigh of relief over not having losing his friend there.
Once up Kion was just a blind and confused over everything as he heard Besthe's voice talking to him, and letting him know that the creature he had seen was just his Hippo friend.
"B-But that second head on your back?" Kion asked as he could then hear another familiar voice saying "That was me." to him.
"Jasiri?!" Kion asked confused as Besthe told him that they would try to explain everything once they got themselves cleaned up.
"Just stick to my body Kion and I carry you there, just like I do with the rest of the gang." Besthe said as the blind Kion followed the sound of his voice, before then ending up getting stuck to the side of the Hippo as he then got up and started walking again.
Once finding a water hole and getting themselves cleaned there was a lot of crazy things to be told, as both Jasiri and the cubs could agree that having had Besthe as a babysitter had been one of the best and funniest things ever in their eyes.
