Figured I'd upload the full sketchpage for when I made Kari while I was at it. I was gonna doodle a whole bunch of different designs of birds and then pick which one I liked, but then after scribbling the one in the top left there I found I honestly liked it enough to just go with that. This also gives a bit of insight into just how many god damn color options I run through before I finally settle on something I like. and despite that I still liked some of the other color palettes I slapped together for her, maybe someone else might draw some inspiration from them, I dunno.

This is still the fasted I've ever had a character go from idea to finalized concept though, with something like a 32 hour turnover, instead of my usual several weeks of careful planning and asking around to see what works best. So that means I'm either getting better at it, or lazier. Though I'm starting to wonder if there's actually a noticeable a difference between the two.
