His childhood home was small. Had a sign that said "Welcome home" and a well lit porch. It felt bigger from the inside, like any home would.
On the top floor was his bedroom. Untouched. A bathroom, and a guest room.
His parents said his boyfriend could visit and stay in the guest room. No sleeping in the same room, but he knew that they weren't going to listen.
Fireflies outside, no surprise.
He had the shirt on, it felt like it was made for him. It was comfy yet made him vulnerable.
