It's pretty simple actually: not unique enough.
It first started with the names of my universe's main planet and its cities (Reptilica became Noéyihn, Dovahpolis became Irr Xagoh).
I'm working with two friends on a series of novels based on this universe and we plan to sell it, but that couldn't be possible with copyrighted species.
I planned to do these visual changes some years ago, so it was the perfect moment to do a "reboot".
