So I made this sweater and I'm pretty stoked that it's finally done.
I had the ruffles all knitted up in stockinette stitch, which curls in on itself. I tried to wet block it, (soaking it, and then pinning it in the shape I needed and letting it air dry,) but it popped right back up. I went running to show my fiance to ask him what he thought, and he took one look and said,
"You look like you're wearing a giant vagina."
So I ended up sewing the edges of the ruffle to the sweater to pin it down. >< The inside of the sweater is a hot mess, but the outside looks awesome, so I'm satisfied. I took this pic of me and my sweater in action, pardon the pudge.
