In order to make up for not uploading as much recently (mostly due to health and time concerns), I'm uploading a few older pieces I still like that didn't make the account cut-off date for when I switched over here! Please excuse any horrific anatomical mistakes or now-inaccurate character details; I just wanted to show off some older pieces I was still proud of while I still recover to make new ones!
Possible concept for a Zootopia OC. A lesbian bat-eared fox trucker, who could give less of a shit to social norms and "dressing nicely." At least she delivers speedily and correctly.
Some fast facts (obvs under construction):
- Potentially nicknamed "Otis" (a pun on the scientific name of her species, like her first name is), but I'm not sure why as to how that would come about.
- Has an ex-husband with the surname Crossley. He would've been a red fox (cross coloration), and they probably would've split due to religious/sexuality reasons -- she would have denied her sexuality for a LONG time due to laws/standards, and only married for convenience and/or to "trick" herself into being attracted to men. I haven't decided if they had kids or not yet, since irl these kinds of foxes aren't even in the same genus.
- Generally not seen without some form of sunglasses and earplugs (not explicitly shown in the ref); her eyes are very sensitive to bright lights, and loud sounds pain her as well.
- Is holding a Snarlbucks coffee and Camel cigarette in this reference, but I doubt she'd be super picky about sticking to name brands. Additionally, cap says "Buck's" but I haven't currently decided what trucking company she's actually employed by. I'm probably going to stalk some Zootopia concept/movie art and see if I can find a company in there.
- Would absolutely fit the stereotyped part of "gruff trucker that is forced to bond with another being [probably a small child or otherwise needy demographic] while traveling across the country for a delivery and learns the True Meaning of Friendship"
