I like the idea of Maya (the kangaroo) having a nice side from time to time rather than having Nor (the black and white dog) taking hits every time they're together.

Edit: Nor's colors were opposite. Fixed now.

Rule 1) There are no rules!
Rule 2) Don't bump his head and conk out.
Rule 3) Any other motion other than a tossing motion is given a 5 yard penalty.

It is nice seeing Nor not drawing the short straw for once. Really cute picture. Maya almost seems to have a "motherly doting" feel to her.

Yeah, I may be better off just drawing his luck going back and forth rather than good happenings once in a while.

Also Maya's attitude was like that more for my orange 3-legged dog, but it may seem cooler if she acted like that towards other characters.
