This started out as a doodle. I played around with new brushes ... and then wanted to place something in the center of the thing I made. after trying to place several characters in there (which didn't work well because of the image's general shape) I just blocked a black, rectangular shape in, which was hella boring. I used the selection tool and added round shapes to it and the result looked a bit like a monolith ... After I defined the rocks a bit more I decided to add a character anyways, because just a rock is also boring. The character shown is my little dragon OC, Ginko.
I assume it was some nice practice on shading, texture and depth.
