You know, I'd love to go down something more "dramaratic" akin to what you suggest, find something new, explore a lot more, but its only a flashback and already trying to wrap up something that was already started with opening up anything else. X)

actually i was thinking of an episode of Bones when i wrote that...

think more in the line of "hey, this looks like a pretty hot chick... hey... wait, that aint mom... thats dad!"

and thus was the 70s glamrocking musical astronaut with a dubious sexual preference and a love for glittering wigs and psycedelic guitar riffs rediscovered


could make for an equally fun story arc, if you throw in a little band reunion, unconfortable meetings with old band-mates... dunno how it'd fare as a long term story line, but in a slice of life comic it could do as a side-plot or a one-shot story arc


i'm good with stories like that.

You might do yourself a favor by saving your files as pngs, the jpeg is giving you some artifacts that would be eliminated by using another filetype. :)

I'd consider it, but these are just the lil' previews. It just conveys the idea of "Yes, I have a comic for next week, folks!"

Well, sort of both. Like, it's kinda distracting on the preview, but you're right... it is just a preview. But just so's you do your comic justice, I would recommend saving the actual comics as pngs.

I save them at quality 6 or so, the jpgs can go a LOT higher without having to change the format. I might consider it for later pages coming up.

Is there some reason you don't want to change the format? I mean, it looks as if this is done in Photoshop/a program the supports pngs, and it's just a matter of choosing a different option on the dropdown menu. :p It may make the files a little larger than a jpeg but the actual quality is so much better it's sort of moot to worry about that, imo, especially when working with full color images such as this.

I'm old, stuck in my ways.
