I caught a submission this morning on the front page: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2856178/ - the lyrics to a song written by  kiffa_kitmouse that hasn't been recorded yet. I got such a strong Sonata Arctica type of feeling from them (because of their habit of writing phenomenally depressing songs with a very happy tone) that I could instantly hear a melody in my head, and hammered this out in about thirty minutes - perhaps you can hear how it fits the rhythm of his chorus.

This isn't the song itself, or indeed anything like how it was intended to sound, but it's a melody that I really like - it'll go into the folder where I keep all my music fragments, and maybe you'll hear a song by me that uses it at some point within the next ten years. Thanks for the inadvertent inspiration :)
