Amazing animation, the movement and transformation are fluid and well paced.
Thank you so much for allowed me to commission you, it is a joy to be able to colour this as well ^^
You handled the creature design perfectly and I love the reactions, great work!
Also, I cant wait to see what happens to whoever gets the cursed umbrella haha guess we cant escape transforming ;)

Oh my, I absolutely adore this. Your transformations are always so fun and fluid, and you're one of the only people to put them into motion with animation. Always excited to see a new submission.
What do you use to animate? I've done some pixel animations in GraphicsGale, which has a nice onion-skinning feature, but it wouldn't work well for more normal lines drawn with a tablet.

Thank you! I appreciate that a lot and I'm glad you're really enjoying these!
I've been using toon boom harmony for these! I used to do little pixel icons 'n stuff in GIMP-- like the icon I have now, and also a lot of my earlier animations in this gallery that look like they were done with a pixel brush on a white background. GIMP has no onionskinning so I briefly moved onto FireAlpaca which was slightly better and also a free program like GIMP. If you're looking for something free with some extremely limited onion-skinning, playback options, and ability to have layer groups as frames, I'd recommend trying out FireAlpaca. It's got some alright brush options too, though I haven't fiddled around with them a ton.
I've also done animations in an old version of Flash, but I personally find the drawing tools annoying to work with.
Toon Boom Harmony has a timeline view and support for multiple layers like Flash, along with everything else you'd consider standard for a 2D animation program (plus more if you get the expensive fancy Premium version). Harmony Basic just gives you vector brushes, but the other two versions let you have some nice bitmap brushes that you can also customize. It's not free but I'm really starting to enjoy it the more I learn how to use it. Also you can get trial versions of it to test it out which is nice.
Sorry for the huge response! I know you didn't specifically ask for recommendations, but there they are, lol
