There is a certain trand in to human NPC's TF in S/M-US/UM.
Basically every male characters is part of Rockruff evoulutinary family, or Guzma could be a Golisopod and Gladion any "edgyfurry" pokemon.
Don't get me wrong, the rockruffs are great but... here me out. Guzma as a Bear.
Ursaring because I'm doing pokèmon right now and Beartic and Pangoro didn't fit. Ursaring is the perfect balance of cute and angry-scary.
