*As you trudge through the scorching mid-day sun towards the safehouse ahead, your thoughts are suddenly interrupted by a heavy thud soon followed by another. The sound is familiar to you at this point, deathclaw. And from the sounds of it it's a whole pack of them but where? Suddenly you see it, though you wonder for a moment if it's just the heat as before you stands a massive deathclaw, oddly pale and looking like he's cleaned out the entire area's worth of brahmin judging by his gargantuan gut. But before you can shoulder your rifle, it... waves?* Hey-yo! *It calls out, now you know you've been out in the sun too long, a talking, fat deathclaw? No such thing...* Hey! I think you're one of the first people out here that hasn't taken a shot at me! Nice to meet ya! *You can only look up at the creature in disbelief* ... you alright? You seem rather pale and you're shaking... oh! You're headed to the safehouse ain't ya? *He nods back towards the old building behind him* Well then, don't let me keep ya! Seems like you need the rest bud from this heat. It's nothing like how it was back east! *He says as he continues on, passing right by you and once again showing that he was as thick as you are tall thricefold. And as he disappears off into the wasteland you begin to wonder if all that cave fungus you've been eating has had some other, untold affect on your mind... though hallucinations don't leave behind a footprint half a foot deep.*
