Seems the warehouse reviled yet another lizard. This time the rumors were true, the sightings real. That a chameleon survived the box crushing back in late August.

I got the call yesterday afternoon, that a lizard was found. I dash down, seeing this guy clinging to a broom, very angry with the world. I brought him home, stuck him in our spare mesh cage meant for chameleons. He remained angry and avoiding all night.

This big boy is a male Veiled Chameleon (almost a foot long!). And looks like by the top of his head, got nicked by machinery at the plant. but it looks healed mostly. But I say he lost a 1/4 inch off the top.

I just hope he doesn't develop a respiratory problem from being in that warehouse a month with little if anything to eat or drink.

Still, theres hope he pulls through.
