Zoey is a precocious young mouse who lives in the suburb of Greenwick. It’s summertime and most children her age are out playing and making friends. Zoey, however, always spends her summers the same- locked away inside, reading as her father tells her to, and being cared for by Jeremy. It’s just two weeks into summer and the poor girl is already bored of the same old routine. Jeremy is a friendly rat who has been her friend and caretaker for as long as she can remember. He cooks the family meals, cleans the house, and ensures that young Zoey is never left home alone. He does anything he can for her and has always been at her side- at least for as long as she can remember. To shake up her boring summer and learn more about her friend, she asks him to tell her a story- one that would tell her where he came from and how he got here. He agrees to the request and exposes her to the troubles of his past and how he found happiness. He held nothing back, telling the young girl everything he went through without restraint. This experience awakens something deep inside the young mouse and urges her to seek out more stories across Greenwick.

Thanks for stopping by and reading! The next part will be coming soon, but first I'll actually be writing and submitting another story before part two of this story. I wanted to get the introduction out to finally join a writing community again. <3 Thanks again for reading, hope you enjoyed this.
