Ahh I'm really glad you like that part of it! When I saw Guilmon/Growlmon claws I instantly started thinking of how the digits would shift and morph into those big things. It's a bit "unrealistic" (it's digimon but still) to have the whole digit become a claw rather than just the nail, but since those claws are so huge, I kinda liked the "feel" of this better.
That is indeed the fun of TF, becoming not only something entirely different, but having entire portions of your body re-purposed into something else! Would be a curious feeling, from the looks of it those claws "slid" out of his fingers. So there'd be a weird numbing sensation as all your sensitive flesh is changed and pushed around for the dull sensation of a nail :O.
Grraaah, I still get so shaky just looking at this one, Orange! I love the clenched teeth, the look of pure shock but also bewilderment on my face as it just streeeetches~ I also love my tail being tucked in between my legs, my massive-clawed paws, the bloating belly, all of it!
