Believe it or not, Rohan has never been in the habit of tackling blind girls into the ground before today.

Edit: Fixed the perspective on the first panel. Originally, the tree was way too close, which made Rohan look SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than he actually is. This gives a better idea of the distance between him and Alicia.

I suppose it goes without saying that sometimes my comic pages can be a bit verbose, especially for a world like this, where things need to be thoroughly established. But even I can appreciate when a scene is only hindered by words.

Drawing this new creature has been an interesting experience for me. I haven't made a habit of drawing things that are scary or otherworldly, so this has definitely been a nice step in a different direction. I once again credit  kyrio for his ideas regarding the visual design of this creature. We kinda batted some ideas back and forth a few months ago about what this thing looked like and what it was capable of. And... well... if I was able to make it look genuinely unnerving, I feel I will have done the concept justice.
