An idea I had to design Deadpool as if he was a viking warrior, I figured that since (at the end of Deadpool 2) he's got the means to time travel he could potentially go on more crazy adventures through almost setting so I figured why not put him in a setting where violence and chaos was commonplace?
Alternatively he could've met up with Thor and impress him with his combat skills so much so that he could be made an honorary Asgard warrior.
