This page presented several interesting challenges for me, but none were as time consuming as my job, which has been demanding an awful lot of work lately.
Even though the Guisse Estate literally took 2 hours for me to ink, I love how it came out.
Uh, as for the gardens of the estate... don't blame me! It's not my fault the French can't draw concentric circles! Geez, the mistake is even more glaring when looking at the thumbnail :p
LOLZ, I also just realized that Fred gave that leopard guy a good stack of cash, and they didn't even have sex! How weird...

Gah, I just realized that I never responded to this post!
Honestly, man, I admire your sense of efficiency much more than any attention to detail. There's a balance between meeting schedule expectations with quickness versus attaining a high level of detail, and I think you've got a more successful recipe than I do. Part of the detail with how I attack my backgrounds is to compensate for my lack of skill with anatomy, which you've got in spades.
In the end, fans of anthropomorphic artwork are more interested in characters than settings, story rather than background. The problem is not that you opt to focus on the characters, the problem is with me and my ossified ways.

Thanks! As usual I got a bit carried away with it... it's very common for me to add more and more detail in the pencil stage and completely forget that I've still got to worry about inking and coloring the thing! The inking was very time consuming, but surprisingly the color came along quite quickly.
