My mate got up, and went over to the window.
"Now, what...?" she muttered.
Apparently, the wolfess and Tessie Ring were at something of a standoff. I could see, even at this distance, that the raccoon-femme had handed the Wolf Queen a water-dish. One that had glowing runes engraved on it, clearly legible.
""Queenie?"" murmured Anastasia. "What's that all about?"
I didn't answer, but merely sighed, as I heard the noise of the dish being slammed to the ground, and the traditional challenge-noises being issued at the start of a fight. I knew I shouldn't have told Tessie about the law in Poke County.
