Man I wish it was two weeks ago again. :C
Me, Shinji, and
zelda at AWA. We spent soooo much time at the hotel bar.
I'm Lupin, Shinji is Tochiro, and Zelda is THE BEST DAMN CAPTAIN HARLOCK YOU'VE EVER SEEN, BIIIITCHES.
(I still am bitching over the fact they DID NOT SHOW LUPIN vs CONAN AS PROMISED UUUURGH NERD RAGE!)

You know, I haven't actually seen the movies in probably nine years, so I forget a lot of the characters names.
But your drawing of your friend as Harlock seemed familiar to me, as did the name, and it took me a few seconds to make the connection. At first I was thinking Wild ARMs (the video game series, not the anime), as that has a wild west theme, but then I remembered GE999, and was all "Holy crap!" ^_^;
I'm very annoyed that the PlayStation Video Store only has the Galaxy Express 999 anime series and not the movies. The versions I saw were edited versions for the Sci-Fi Channel. Back in 1999 or 2000, they did this week of science fiction themed anime, and Galaxy Express 999 and Adieu Galaxy Express 999 were two of the movies they showed. I'm pretty sure some editing went down (I don't know if the nudity is censored in the original versions or not), but I've never seen the full versions to really compare.
