I’m a fan of taking colours similar in hue and value-shifting them just enough to be distinguishable from one another. The colours in this case being dark blue, darker blue, and darker-er blue. They look very pretty, especially with the gradients you used for the hair. Of course you had a colour reference, but the picking of the exact hues was all on you, which takes good colour vision and æsthetic ideas.

I forgot if I told you this already but I use two different computers, one for leisure and one for art (Mac and Lenovo) and they both have different color saturations/brightness. My Lenovo shows the colors really dull so I sometimes struggle on what colors to properly use so it won't be overbearing to the eye but also not too grey/dark-looking. I've been doing decently though I think, even though most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing lol.
