I really enjoy this drawing. I think you did a really good job, seeing as I personally feel drawing spikes hair is about as impossible as it gets. It's not an afro nor is it like any hair cut I can really imagine, it's just spike XD

You got Spike's jacket right. the problem I always had with drawing Spike is that he literally weighs 155 lbs....HE IS STICKLY!!

no i never imagined spikes hair as an afro honestly. it just was as it was. as for vashes coat, i mostly took it out of the manga more so then the anime as the manga held more detail to what would have happened to him as the anime (yes) touched upon, but not completely.. so i wanted people.. or the one person i drew it for, "yes, people tried to f-ing kill him.. this is him!" kinda deal. she never got it i don't think. but either way, i got whwat i wanted to show on paper.. and this is it. thank you for the notice.

Lol, well if you look at Spike's hair from differnt angles it is like...well...hahaha..it is not an afro in the normal term, but it has such a strange shape...that and it is tinted green >.> I dunno honestly, I just know he has one of the most unique hair cuts of most anime characters I've ever seen, but in a good way of course.

As for the manga, yes I see what you mean actually *has hardbound volume 1 of Trigun around here some where* At first I was looking closely at the bullet holes in the coat, but with Vash's uncanny ability to dodge bullets at the last second, I would not be surprised if the bottom of his coat, would be torn to shreds from bullet holes.

Also looking at this picture again, I really love what you did with Vash's left gun arm. The straps look really great and you can see the connection where his arm splits and the SMG comes out.

Spike obviously is from the the cowboy bebop series. Vash obviously from the the "trigun serious" as for "Millefieulle" he's from the "sorcerer hunters" field. thats where the three ideas converge. my friend wanted me ro draw three bishounens. at the time, thats were the three i was thinking of.
