If you have seen the anime Loveless (or read the manga, I haven't) you'll get the joke.
But I'll explain it here for those who haven't:
The children in that world has kitty ears and tails, adults doesn't.
At one part one character takes off the ears of another one to make him/her (don't remember T_T) an adult and keeps 'em for memento.. or stuff.
Yare yare.. And I got this idea :D

Jay / Yayako might seem slightly too kind on the first panel but that was quite much my aim. Yea.
After doing this I decided Fe'trean wont have black hands....
