Babette is a child of Abra and a Muk. Even as a little Ralts, Babette was never the most outgoing individual. She flowed through school getting the very least she could do without being considered a failure. When she reached college, she essentially dropped out because she deemed it as "too much effort". Abra, being the caring mother she was, accepted her behavior, but gave Babette a choice to do if she decided to stay home. To which, she did and accepted. Babette is still living at her mother's home to this day; doing some daily chores but gets to slack off whenever she wants to.

Babette is lazy. She lacks motivation to do anything other than slack off or to do whatever she likes; which is mostly slacking. That's not to say she's without cause. The chores she's given at the house gets done rather quickly. For staying at home all the time, Babette had picked up remarkable culinary skills. She cooks for her family for most meals. Unfortunately being part Muk means she has some bad body odor, but it masks the body odor she would normally have since she hardly takes a shower. Her family has grown slightly accustomed to it.
